Hi! I’m Mélanie, a passionate Destination Wedding Photographer based in Brittany, France.
Since 2013, I’ve had the pleasure of storytelling over 150 weddings across Brittany and the Grand West of France. I frequently capture beautiful weddings in Rennes, Saint-Malo, Vannes, Quimper, and even in Normandy.
Many of my couples come from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Asia, often marrying a French partner or planning a destination wedding in France. Whether you are both from abroad or one of you is French, I understand the unique challenges of organizing a wedding in another country and will be there to guide you every step of the way.
One of my biggest strengths is that I speak fluent English, so from our first conversation to your wedding day, you won’t have to worry about any language barriers. I’ll make sure your vision is perfectly understood and beautifully captured.

Your wedding is the unique representation of your couple, of two people, two identities, two stories, merging into one. That’s why I love getting to know you and the details of your wedding. This allows me to create images that truly reflect who you are.
I love to travel and discover amazing places in all of North West of France , while covering weddings or photo sessions. I’ve had the honor of photographing couples from all over the world who chose to say “I do” in Brittany. From intimate seaside elopements along the Morbihan coast to grand celebrations in stunning French châteaux, my goal remains the same, to tell your story in the most genuine and meaningful way.
My perspective
During your wedding coverage, I focus on natural, simple photos, but most importantly, on capturing genuine emotions and the most spontaneous moments I can see on your faces and those of your loved ones. I don’t like posed or stiff smiles. What I seek are the subtle smiles, the knowing glances, the tears, the laughter, all those little unique moments that define your wedding day.
Beyond taking photographs that will be the sole witness of your wedding and a fundamental part of your family heritage, I will be there, attentive to your needs, advising you on photography as well as recommending trusted vendors, sharing my professional experience, and building a privileged relationship with you throughout the year of your preparations.
My Photographic Style
I’ve always been deeply inspired by two distinct approaches in wedding photography, and instead of choosing between them, I’ve embraced both! This duality reflects who I am, and it’s what shapes my unique style.
On one hand, there’s the fine art influence: clean compositions, soft light, and warm, luminous tones that bring an elegant and timeless feel to your images. On the other, I’m drawn to photojournalism for its authenticity, capturing the raw, spontaneous, sometimes chaotic moments that reflect the true emotion and energy of your day.
This blend allows me to tell your story with both intention and honesty, a balance of beauty and realness, just like life itself !
My Ideal Weddings ?
I don’t have a specific style! I do have a slight specialty in intimate weddings, as my couples often prefer small gatherings.
Otherwise, I’m proud to say that my clientele is as eclectic as I am. Here, we love everyone and every type of wedding!
Whether you’re planning an elegant wedding in a grand château, a beach wedding with your feet in the sand, a restaurant celebration after a civil ceremony, a bohemian wedding, something rock ‘n’ roll, in a field under the trees, or even in a house under renovation (true story), I’d be thrilled to be your photographer.
My only criteria? Lovely and kind-hearted couples. Okay, you might even get a bonus point if you have dogs !
